Getting started with MyCookbooksOnline

Introduction to MyCookbooksOnlineMyCookbooksOnline is a recipe search facility that brings your cookbooks to life. Tell us which cookbooks you own and we tailor your recipe search to the cookbooks in your kitchen.

MyCookbooksOnline automatically creates your shopping list with the right ingredients at the right quantities (depending on how many people you're cooking for).
Why is MyCookbooksOnline better than other online recipe finders? For a start, we trust Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey and Nigella Lawson to get it right. We know that Delia Smith's Lemon Merengue Pie is going to be delicious, but can we say the same of Mrs Robert's version (whoever Mrs Roberts is)?

And how much nicer is it to cook from a cookbook rather than a computer screen or printed sheet of A4?
How do I get started? It's free to register and takes no time at all. Click on the register link to fill in your details, select your cookbooks in My account, and you're ready to find recipes.
Our ethos: buy well, cook well, eat wellWe're all pretty busy these days, so the driving ethos of MyCookbooksOnline is to enable you to cook good food every night, with minimum fuss. While it's nice to fall back on some tried-and-tested favourite recipes, by using your cookbooks, you can cook something delicious every night!
Tell me moreYou'll shop with specific recipes in mind, so there's no wasted food and much less time spent in supermarkets. No longer will you open the fridge door wondering how to make a meal with what you find inside!
Can I bookmark my favourites?Of course, you can rate your favourite recipes and add comments (and read other people's). You can also buy cookbooks on this site as well!
Can I make a suggestion? We welcome your feedback, your suggestions, your questions - and if you have any, your complaints. Please help us make this site better and better.
Add your favourite cookbooksWe invite you to become contributors to the site and add your favourite cookbooks. Please email us to let us know you'd like to contribute.
Please noteThis website will not provide you with recipe instructions. It is designed to identify the quantities of ingredients needed for those who have the listed recipe book. It is not a substitute for the book itself and will give you no guidance on how to cook the ingredients purchased.
